As per Christchurch Netball Policies, regarding Umpiring Commitments:
All players in Premier, Senior, Senior Reserve, Under 19 and 2A grades will be required to sit and pass the NNZ Local Centre Umpire Theory Examination prior to the first competition game. All players not completing this requirement will be deemed to be an unregistered player.
Testing Dates are as Follows
Teams in 2B Grade and Under 17 are required to complete the Umpires Test Examination as set by Games Official Suc Committee. Teams will be ramdomly selected for audit of this reqirement.
Merlins Club will be preparing all players for these and supporting them through the season with the requirements.
