Merlins Netball

As many teams train in the evening at Isleworth School, we would like to remind parents/caregivers/coaches/players to be vigilant.

Please come into the school grounds to drop off and when collecting please get out of your car so the coach can see everyone is going home with the right person.

Some teams are coached by young adults and we would appreciate parents taking time to stay and watch the training on occasions or even join in.  Some teams train alone and would really appreciate adult company during their practice.  May be a roster could be started with parents taking turns.

If you are going to be late picking up or cannot make it, please advise the coach so arrangements can be made and a player is not left waiting on the street.

Don’t walk home alone after training whether it be from the YMCA or Isleworth.

We continue to fundraise and apply for grants throughout the year in an effort to provide “our girls” with the best training facilities we can, eg YMCA indoor training, installing four large lights at Isleworth School.  Unfortunately due to the cost and unavailability of YMCA at times, we can only cater for some of our teams indoors.  We are currently looking into other options.
