The Merlins Netball
Club was established many years ago, when it was first known as The
Merrivale Club and is now one of the largest netball clubs in
Christchurch.
Merlins has over 150 registered members, over 20 teams and have teams that participate in all divisions, from under 12 through to under 19, 2A and social grades.
Merlins are based in the Christchurch north west area that includes the suburbs; Bishopdale, Bryndwr, Burnside, Casebrook, Fendalton, Harewood, Merrivale, Papanui and Russley.
The Merlins headquarters utilize the premises of The Papanui Club, on Sawyers Arms Road, Bishopdale.
Merlins pride themselves as one of the friendliest and competitive clubs in Christchurch and often secure good competition results across all team grades.
