Tuesday 6 May 6-7pm
Wednesday 7 May 6-7pm Virtual Netball? Papanui Club Raffles - Can you spare 3 hours for your club?
We have been very fortunate this year and have been given 5 weeks to run raffles through the year at The Papanui Club. We
need parents and players over 18 years of age to help with these. We
hold raffles Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings of the weeks that
we are allocated. We get to keep all profit from these raffles. It is
not hard at all, we sit behind a counter in the bar area and patrons
line up to purchase the tickets at $2.00 per ticket. Tickets sell fast. Its very easy and a lot of fun, excellent way to meet other club members.
We use these funds to :
purchase new uniforms and equipment each year
run the club
send our coaches and umpires to training courses
pay for lighting at the school and hiring the YMCA for senior training.
There
will be a sign up table at the Uniform night so if you think you could
spare us some time please add your name and contact details.
We have limited vacancies for players in these teams
2A -This team is competitive but due to work commitments do not train together. Players wanting to train are able to join training sessions with our other 2A teams at the Bishopdale YMCA on Thursdays.
Social - A competitive social team

Can you assist with these?
Do you have any of these
lying unused around the house that you could donate to the club for
training purposes? We would gratefully accept any donations for the
club. We intend putting together training boxes for teams to use at the
YMCA and the school and the more we have the better! Please email Deraulle at MICHAELHOPE@xtra.co.nz if you can assist.

Money Draw at The Papanui Club for Netball Every Friday night at The Papanui Club at 6.30pm one very lucky member is drawn. If this member is present they recieve the money.
Swipe your membership card at reception as you arrive, pay $2.00 for the extra money draw and you are in to win. If the member drawn is not present the money jackpots through to the next Friday. If this happens they draw again and someone present in the bar wins $500.00. Well worth coming down and also support your netball raffles while you are there!
Players new to the Merlins Club please note:
Any player that is playing for Merlins for the first year that played for another Club last season must fill in a clearance form
